This nursery is a fabulous place to acquire, and to learn about, trees, shrubs, and plants native to NE Indiana. The owner, Sean, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his trade. If you already know the names of a few of the non-native, invasive plants (e.g., Bradford Pear, Japanese Honeysuckle, Autumn Olive), you'll love getting plants and advice from Sean and his staff. Since they are in Roanoke, it's a short drive from Fort Wayne, Huntington, Bluffton and North Manchester. Note that Sanctuary also does on-location landscaping services, so you should call ahead to be sure folks will be there.

Highly recommend this place for plants! They have a great selection of native plants that I have been searching for. If you're tired of not finding any natives at various home improvement stores, the search is over. Will be back for sure!

Saw their promotional stand at LC Nature park, thought it’d be fun to check it out. The man there was very nice and all the plants were very pretty. I have two beautiful pots of plants now on my deck. Glad to support a small business!
